CEO and Chairman of the Board

Jerry Flum is a former hedge fund manager and lawyer. He has been Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of CreditRiskMonitor since 1999. Before CreditRiskMonitor, Jerry held a series of investment leadership roles, including as an institutional security analyst, research and sales partner at an investment firm and founder and general partner of a private investment pool.

Before entering the investment business, Jerry practiced law, helped manage a U.S. congressional campaign and served as a legal and legislative aide to a U.S. Congressman. He has been a guest lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology/Sloan School of Management Lab for Financial Engineering. He served in the USMCR and holds a BS in Business Administration from Babson College and a JD degree from Georgetown University Law School.

William Danner was named President of CreditRiskMonitor in May 2007. He joined CreditRiskMonitor in May 2005 as Chief Marketing Officer and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in October 2005.

Bill has more than 20 years of financial services and information services experience, from major public institutions including Dun & Bradstreet, MetLife and General Electric. Prior to CreditRiskMonitor, he worked in brand strategy and business development consulting for financial services clients at his own firm, Danner Marketing. Clients included WellPoint and Bowne & Co.

Previously, he was at Citigate Albert Frank, a marketing communications company in New York City, where he provided strategic planning and brand consulting for a variety of leading financial services organizations including Reuters Instinet and the CFA Institute.

From 1997 to 2001, Bill was Vice President of Market Development at MetLife’s employee-benefits business. Before joining MetLife, he was at Dun & Bradstreet for 5 and a half years, most recently as Vice President, Strategic Planning. He spent the first 10 years of his career at General Electric Company, working in increasingly responsible positions at GE Information Services and GE Capital.

Bill holds a BA in economics from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Larry Fensterstock was elected Chief Financial Officer in 1999 upon the company’s acquisition of Market Guide’s credit information services division. He joined Market Guide in September 1996 to help create its credit information services division. From 1993 to 1996, Larry was with Information Clearinghouse Incorporated ("ICI") and was closely involved in the formation of its credit reporting service. In addition to being responsible for the publication of the various facets of this credit reporting service, he was chief operating and financial officer of ICI.

From 1989 through 1992, Larry was Vice President-Controller, Treasurer and Corporate Secretary for a private entity formed to acquire Litton Industries’ office products operations in a leveraged buyout. He spent more than 2 years acting as de facto chief financial officer.

Larry is a certified public accountant who began his career in 1973 with Arthur Andersen LLP. He holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Business School and a BA in economics from Queens College.

Michael Broos was appointed Chief Technology Officer in 2001. He has more than 30 years of experience leading technology teams in the development and implementation of software applications for the web, Windows, DOS and mainframes.

Previously, Mike was Senior Vice President of Technology for About.com; Chief Technology Officer of Fan2Fan.com; Chief Technology Officer of AKA.com; Vice President of Internet Solutions for Inventure.com; and Vice President of Software Development for Dun & Bradstreet Information Systems, for 8 years.

Prior to joining Dun & Bradstreet in 1990, Mike spent 10 years as an independent consultant and entrepreneur, during which time he co-founded several software companies, including Infocom (the creators of Zork). Mike began his career with a ten-year stint on the academic computer research staff of the M.I.T. Laboratory for Computer Science, where he developed interactive, graphical and email-based applications for the ARPANET (the precursor of today’s Internet).

Camilo Gomez joined CreditRiskMonitor as Senior Vice President, Quantitative Research in 2009. He brings over two decades of experience in applying advanced analytics to business problems, and the skill to enhance and expand CreditRiskMonitor’s services in the areas of credit modeling and scoring.

Camilo was most recently a principal at his firm, Lone Pine Mesa LLC, where he consulted with companies in the area of specialty finance since 2005. Previously he was a Managing Director at Standard & Poor’s Risk Solutions group since 2001.

Before S&P, Camilo was co-founder and Group Head for Financial Analytics for the Center for Adaptive Systems & Applications (CASA), a company spun out from the Los Alamos National Laboratory where he had been a researcher. Formed in collaboration with Citibank, CASA provided quantitative analytical consulting services to Fortune 500 companies. A major focus at CASA was to develop scoring and economic response models covering different regions of the globe.

Camilo earned a BS in 1980 and a PhD in 1985 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Lou Cassetta joined CreditRiskMonitor in 2016 with extensive experience in information services and financial marketing. He is responsible for all aspects of marketing, including branding, web site, digital, product development and product marketing.

Lou has deep experience in lead generation, acquisition and digital marketing with both B2B and consumer companies. He is an expert in creating digitally-driven strategies that grow the customer base and create new revenue streams.

Before joining CreditRiskMonitor, Lou was Vice President of User Intelligence and Branding at Penton Media, where he led a team of 12 marketers across 30 brands responsible for customer acquisition, retention and data collection. Lou also has been a marketing strategy consultant for Boundless Markets and held marketing leadership roles at Euromoney/Institutional Investor, Source Media and America Online.

Lou holds an MBA in International Marketing from Pace University.

Kirk Ellis has been Vice President, Quality Assurance for CreditRiskMonitor since 2008. He leads a team of more than 30 data and financial analysts who ensure the data quality and integrity of our information and scores, including benchmarking the ongoing accuracy of our proprietary FRISK® Score.

Kirk has more than 20 years experience in information services, focused on financial data collection, quality and research. He joined CreditRiskMonitor in 2005 as a research analyst and has held a series of progressively responsible data leadership roles. Before coming to CreditRiskMonitor, Kirk managed data and analytics teams at Citigate Financial Intelligence and at Thomson Financial Research.

Kirk holds a BA in Economics from the State University of New York at Purchase.

Kellyanne has been Vice President, Client Services for CreditRiskMonitor since 2015. She leads a team of account managers who provide hands-on support to all clients.

Kellyanne joined CreditRiskMonitor in 2004, after a successful career managing sports celebrities for a speaker’s bureau and leading a 25-person team as an executive at corporate office firm Omni Offices. She has held various roles of increasing responsibility at CreditRiskMonitor, starting as a sales account executive and leading a client services team starting in 2012. She is a dedicated professional who puts the interests of our clients first.
