Jerry Flum is a former hedge fund manager and lawyer. He served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors from 1999 to 2023 before transitioning to his current role. Before that, he held a series of investment leadership roles, including as an institutional security analyst, research and sales partner at an investment firm, and founder and general partner of a private investment pool. 

Before entering the investment business, Mr. Flum practiced law, helped manage a U.S. congressional campaign and served as a legal and legislative aide to a U.S. Congressman. He has been a guest lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology/Sloan School of Management Lab for Financial Engineering.

He served in the USMCR and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Babson College and a J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law School.
